Half Body Enclosures
Imperial Valve, in collaboration with DP Systems, offers a comprehensive range of Half Body protection enclosures made from high-quality glass-reinforced polyester (GRP). These robust housings provide effective protection for your instrumentation against harmful influences such as frost, sand, salt spray, moisture, and other extreme environmental factors.
Our instrument enclosures are specifically designed to safely shield the pressure-containing parts of an assembly. They are often combined with a heating element or a self-regulating heating tape to ensure optimal operation of your installations, even at low temperatures.
Why choose a Half Body protection enclosure?
A Half Body protection enclosure is ideal when targeted protection is sufficient. Unlike a Full Body enclosure, which completely covers the entire assembly, a Half Body enclosure protects only the critical components, such as pressure parts or measuring instruments.
Benefits of Half Body protection enclosures:
- Cost-effective: Reduced material usage and easier installation.
- Compact design: Perfect for confined spaces or when full coverage is not required.
- Easy maintenance: Quick access to the assembly for inspection or servicing.
- Efficient frost protection: When combined with heating, only the sensitive components are kept at the desired temperature.
By choosing a Half Body protection enclosure, you benefit from maximum protection exactly where it is needed, without unnecessary bulk or expense.
If full protection is required, for example for complete valves or piping systems, a Full Body enclosure may be the better solution.
